Last night as i was about to board my flight for London, I saw on CNN the horrible news that Whitney Houston had passed. Only 48 years old, she is clearly gone way too soon. I remember getting her first album. She sounded so good on the record i felt her voice massaging the inside of my ears. Not only that but i stared at the back of that album at her in that white bikini. I would sit and draw that picture while listening to that album. Thru the years she brought me a lot of pleasure with her voice and songs.
Over the years we have seen that she hasn’t always made the healthiest choices, but i will continue to remember her for the good times she’s brought us thru her music. Do you remember her singing the Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl. How bout “Will Always Love You” at the Grammys. How beautiful she looked in The Bodyguard and Waiting To Exhale… Im gonna hold all of those memories, and remember that voice breezing thru that perfect smile. Thank you Whitney..
